FYI...and just in case you haven't thought it through: When your thread makes a mess on the bottom, it means that the machine isn't threaded correctly on the top. Mess on the top, fix the bobbin.Your upper tension may need to be cleaned out.
Janet... And just like that, you saved me from going stir-crazy!! I re-threaded the top, and after a few trial runs on a scrap, cranked the tension up to almost 6, and voila!! I'm so happy! You saved my weekend.Thanks for teaching me how to troubleshoot my machine! Where do I send the bill? ;)
